POLLS
Polling Purpose:
From time to time MODE Weekly conducts reader polls. The nature of these
polls is to collect information about the beliefs and habits of MODE
Weekly readers, and the population at large.
Rules:
Only one response will be accepted per individual per poll. Individuals
may respond to multiple polls conducted by MODE Weekly, but only once per
poll. Duplicate entries will disqualify the eligibility of respondents for
prizes and incentives. Excessive abuse of the MODE Weekly polling facility
to "garner" prizes or incentives, or with the intent to skew
results will be considered malicious and dealt with accordingly.
No purchase is necessary, nor is
the respondent obligated to any products or services by MODE Weekly or any
of the poll's sponsors.
Data Collection:
The raw data collected
during the aforementioned polls is used to develop editorial, create
marketing materials, and project trending analysis. The information may
also be shared with other media, sponsors, and or marketing firms.
MODE Weekly will not willingly
accept personal information, statistical data, or commentary from persons
under the age of 13. Any poll responses with the age question omitted, or
indicating that the respondent is under the age of 13 will be discarded
without review.

All trademarks and copyrights remain the property of the respective
holder, and are used with permission.
Agreement:
By completing a MODE Weekly Reader Poll, the respondent agrees to allow
MODE Weekly to publish the respondent's name, likeness, and or responses
on our website in the event that: the respondent's written response is
worthy of publication; the respondent wins a prize or incentive; the
respondent is considered a celebrity and/or a public figure.
Respondents also agree to the distribution of their responses as part of
future statistical, marketing, or advertising efforts by MODE Weekly and
it's sponsors.
Respondents further agree to indemnify and hold harmless MODE Weekly and
it's sponsors from any future possible action related to conducting and or
publishing of MODE Weekly polls, results, and related statistical,
marketing, or advertising materials or efforts.
Privacy:
MODE Weekly will only guarantee the privacy of the information collected
from poll respondents when a request is made directly to the offices of
MODE Weekly prior to, or accompanied with the poll response, or where
indicated specifically in the terms and conditions of individual poll
questionnaires.
