MODE: Which of the songs on your current playlist best describes you? Nipsey: “Jaded” by Aerosmith. MODE: Why? Nipsey: Because I’ve been jaded. By life, by my father, by women, by Nixon, by tighty whities… MODE: You’re often on this side of the interview, asking the questions. What is your one gripe about interviewing bands? Nipsey: Sometimes they’re drunk [laughs] or they’re sarcastic, and that’s hard, especially if the audience doesn’t really know who they are. MODE: What’s your favorite Olympic event? Nipsey: 400m. MODE: Least favorite? Nipsey: Female shot put. MODE: What category would you make an Olympic event? Nipsey: Consistent sitting. MODE: What category would you eliminate? Nipsey: Naked female wrestling. MODE: Favorite Olympic participant? Nipsey: Carl Lewis.
