Hazel Miller, Raymond Miller, Jesse L. Smith, and George Parr (l-r) had no idea that Danzante’s Carnaval 2000 at Strawberry Square was a costume ball, "We just came here straight from our jobs at the State finance office." (Just kidding!)

Nick Doric and Pat Penigar brought Disney to life at Carnaval as Cruella DeVille and one of the 101 Dalmations.

Cleopatra (Julita Young) and her friends the Flamenco Dancer (Sylvia Bell) and Julius Caesar (Karl Young) made a splashing appearance at the Danzante event.

These fine folks, (l-r) Ron Orth, Kathy Wright, Christina Laird, Ernie Fontaine, and Rich Miller, posed for the MODE cameras at the Mexico Lindo grand opening in the former Hub Restaurant building.

Cheers to Mexico Lindo! By all accounts, the evening was a success. Here, Diana Taylor and Bill Roberts, famed Harrisburg Times publisher, share in the festivities.

My, what lovely eyes you have. Here, Dave Passeol and Bill Adams (a.k.a. Flow Hyman) celebrate Mardi Gras in style at Neptune’s Lounge on North Street in downtown Harrisburg.

Meet the cast of Hollywood, PA! (l-r) Johnny Johnston ("Ben"), Steve Seeber ("Gordy"), and Corrie Graham ("Elizabeth") brave the cold during a break between the shooting of the newly erected HOLLYWOOD sign in Negley Park, overlooking Harrisburg.

Producer Bob Adler , the man behind the scenes, stays in contact with the cast and crew on the ground and in the air. You should see him juggling five walkie talkies, phew!
