Wonderland Workshop Opens
Robert Stadnycki is at it again! Just when you thought it was safe to be relax and be completely uncreative, Good ole Mr. Stadnycki is back stirring up some of his artistic magic — helming a determined effort to bring a phenomenal Winter Wonderland to the Whitaker Center. From November 10th through November 19th, Robert and his ‘elves’ will be spending their time creating "fabulous" decorations for the many huge trees that are set to call the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts home for the holiday season. The decorations, which will range from wrapped packages to soft sculpted comets, will be celestial in theme and are sure to create a good time in the making! The Wonderland Workshop (in the Old Museum of Science Discovery space) will be open to people of all levels of talent and to help in the effort you only need to bring yourself — and, if you have them, your scissors! Robert Stadnycki and his elves will be hard at work November 10, 12, 15 – 19 from 5pm – 9p; Nov 11 from 10a – 9p; November 13 from 10a – 6p; and November 14 from 12p –6p. As a side note, the creative powers-that-be are still in need of "zebra headed float people" to participate as a member of this year’s version of Strawberry Square’s float for the November 20 Holiday Parade. Sign up at the workshop! See you there! |
