Mayor, Ribbon Cutting

Here, City Councilwomen Peggy Grove and Vera White-Reynolds join Mayor Stephen Reed, Councilman John Wright and others at the grand opening of the Youth & Family Literacy Center.


The Lottsville Community Steppers ‘kick’ off the ceremony, adding their unique touch to the already festive occasion.


Local student Chaderlynne Sherill reads the dedication on the official birthplace marker of Harrisburg resident T. Morris Chester that now stands outside the Whitaker Center.


Joining Sherill in the festivities were ladies of the Civil War era in which Chester lived — a true testiment to his existence and outstanding achievements!


Seems like Carol Moore must be one "hunka hunka burnin’ love" don’t ya think? Here she is, livin’ it up at this year’s Annual Red Hot Strawberry Ball. It looks like Elvis, Elvis, Elvis, Elvis, and Elvis struck gold. 


It’s election time again, and here are  the dedicated citizens of Camp Hill taking their places at the Borough Building, ready to assist the voters on November 2nd. Smile, everyone!


It’s a packed house for the November 9th meeting of Harrisburg’s City Council. The air is thick and the silence heavy as the crowd waits patiently, as it has done so many times before, for the vote on a loan for the Midtown Arts Cinema, (officially dubbed the City Cinema) project. It took almost a year, but the theater is finally a "GO!"
