Broadway in Lancaster: Set way, way back many centuries ago in the land of Egypt, Dreamcoat relates the tale of Jacob, his twelve sons and the drama that results from one fabulous multi-colored coat. Given to Joseph by his father as a symbol of paternal pride, the dreamcoat creates jealousy among the brothers, inspires spite, and sends Joseph away from his family and into slavery where he interprets dreams and becomes a favorite of the King, Pharaoh. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a tremendous display of music, drama, intrigue, adventure and colorful costumes! The production begins September 16 and will run through November 6. Performances are Tuesday Saturday with dinner at 6p and the show at 8p. Selected matinees and Sunday twilights are also available. Call 898-1900 for reservations. Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre is located at 510 Centerville Road, Lancaster.
