Cool Stuff About Business and Entertainment
in the Greater Harrisburg, PA Area.

Home Theater On Wheels?

Running out of ideas to entertain your kids on those long hauls?

Coloring books and Lincoln Logs aren’t the hit they used to be?

Not to worry. All eyes are on the mobile entertainment industry, as new products move into the market at lightning speed. Consumers are beginning to see a bevy of new electronic products in the gizmo shops. Existing van or SUV owners or any high-occupancy vehicle owner will find these new products easily installed.

These new devices and related component features are a perfect match for drivers and riders. Johnny and his sister — in fact, everybody — will have ample entertainment while you’re stuck on an interstate highway or the last hours of that marathon journey. Riders can reserve front row seats at every performance. Everybody’s happy — and entertained.

Media moguls at summer trade shows have been impressed after taking out demonstration vehicles equipped with these dazzling new gadgets. Even “Parade Magazine” and “In Flight magazine” have jumped on the wagon with colorful ads on these fun gadgets.

Systems come in floor-mounted or overhead units and go way past combining radio, cassettes and CDs. Children (and adults) can watch television or movies. Passengers can play favorite video games — all while you travel. And safely. Systems have backlit controls as required by automakers.

This new techno stuff is really sleek and incorporate many existing features consumers have grown used to in other electronic products. For example, patented overhead designs feature a “flip down” LDC screens (and active matrix monitor) that provides a wide angle for viewing. Mid and third-seat passengers can relax and enjoy the show.

Sound-round audio is standard. Some systems come with two headphones with internal amplifiers. Universal infrared remote control with batteries makes function controls a snap. Plug and Play capability is also available. Another great feature is that all needed brackets are included with easy-to-follow instructions — making installation a smooth deal. Buyers can even get a factory plug-in wire harness.

Additional options include converters for auxiliary components such as CD players, Nintendo, and Playstation. Consumers can even purchase RF wireless headphones and a television tuner.

So there you go, off into the deep blue yonder with something for everyone’s entertainment pleasure. Rear seat entertainment can insure that every trip is an adventure.
