City Computer System Expands Service
Harrisburg, PA – Harrisburg’s role in providing regional services was further expanded last month when Mayor Stephen R. Both local governments are now enhancing their connections to the city-operated Metro criminal records system, which allows their law enforcement personnel to directly access the city’s extensive regional database on criminal suspects in the Capital Region.

“It is considerably more cost effective and efficient for there to be one major database for critical public safety, code enforcement, and related governmental functions … The City of Harrisburg purposefully devised these systems to be regional in scope and capacity,” Reed said.
