Sports fanatics gathered at Riverside Stadium to support the United Cerebral Palsy at the Sports Auction. Conceived and organized by Billy Kaldes of The Spot, the auction featured autographs, jerseys, and other equipment from professional sports leagues.


Musicians performed on the northeast corner of Second and Walnut streets in celebration of The Spot’s 60th Anniversary.

The true mainstay in downtown dining, The Spot has been past through three generations of the same family to the current owner, Billy Kaldes. His father, Jimmy, still serves up his famous chili for patrons every day.
