APRIL 17 The Roaring 20s at Mount Hope Mansion, Cornwall Take a trip back in time to the days when the movies were silent, the music was swingin and the dancing was flappin, with a flashback to the 1920s at Mount Hope Mansion. A cast from the professional acting company of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire takes a look at the glittering Age of Jazz with antics epitomized by song, dance, moralizing and radio show broadcasts. For four weekends, the stately Victorian Mount Hope Mansion will be turned into a speakeasy under the rule of fictional mobster Alphonse Bugsy Pirandello. If youve ever watched those old gangster movies and wondered what it wouldve been like to have been "bugsy" or his moll, this is an event not to be missed. The show opens on Friday, April 17, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances continuing through May 10. Friday and Saturday adult admission is $13.45 ($6, kids 5-11); $14.45 ($7, kids) for Saturday performances.
