MARCH 26

Dan Bern at The Wire

If you missed Dan Bern’s performance at The Wire in October, you’ve got another chance to be inspired when the singer/songwriter brings his unique in-your-face brand of music back to Central PA on Thursday, March 26. Bern’s high tenor has been compared to the sounds of a young Bob Dylan, but he cites the Marx Brothers and Lenny Bruce as his inspirations. His work has been available in music stores for under a year, but sales have been consistently strong. He’s even got his own website: www.danbern.com, (and a devoted group of followers)—click into it to find out what Bern’s all about. Showtime is 8 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door.

Advance tickets are $15; $5 for students and children. Call the Rose Lehrman Arts Center at 231-ROSE.
