Great Dining Reviews

Kosta's Fine Cuisine
451 North 21st Street, Camp Hill, PA
717-761-3095

How wonderful it was to sit down in a spacious dining room, full with conversation and cheer, Jazz eminating from the far balcony, only to be greeted with a smile by the owner Kosta Touloumes. We asked Kosta about the Jazz brunch and what his goals were. He told us quite plainly that he wanted his guests to have an incredibly relaxing experience centered around the finest gourmet dishes available in the area. Kosta smiled and said: "We’ve got great atmosphere. People are smiling & relaxing. This place has to be good for the digestive system!"

Not to mention the food, of course, but what an incredible spread. A combination of every imaginable dish from all the basic food groups.

The buffet is broken down into food groups and includes a sauté station & a cold pasta salad station with pastas like Raspberry Tortilini & Spinach & Romano Cheese. 75% of the pasta is made in-house.

Kosta’s Jazz Brunch buffet changes week to week. This week the buffet included:
Cream Chipped Beef
Pastas made to order, including Pasta Alfredo & Hazel Marinara
Eggs & omelets made to order
Tuna Orechetti
Spinach Cassercia Mousana
Lemon Pepper Sole
Athenaeum Chicken
Sweet & Sour Pork
Macaroni & Cheese
Au Gratin Potatoes
Rice Pilaf
Broccoli & Carrots
Prime Rib
Bacon & Sausage
Cheese Blintzes w/ Raspberry Sauce
Buttermilk Biscuits
Pork Tenderloin
Rice Pilaf
Manicotti
Steamed Vegetables
Sweet Potatoes
Spinach Pasta
Smoked Fish
Peeled Shrimp
Smoked Shrimp
Red & Black Caviar
Smoked Scallops
Duck Pate
Cold Tuna Pasta Salad
Lemon Meringue Pie
Pastries
Puddings
Cakes
Boston Creme Pie

And I guarantee you that I’ve missed something, if not many somethings.
All this and the incredible sounds of Friends of Jazz founder, Jack Snavely.

Kosta’s Jazz Brunch is served straight up for $15.95, or with unlimited Champagne for $22.50 per person. Kosta’s opened quite recently, (October of ‘95) with overwhelming success, and their Jazz Brunch has been permanent since the beginning of May, and is on the schedule indefinitely. Bravo Kosta!
